Prof. Yi-Cheun Yeh is an Associate Professor at the Institute of Polymer Science and Engineering as well as an Adjunct Faculty at the Department of Biomedical Engineering in National Taiwan University. She received her BS and MS in Chemistry from National Taiwan Normal University. Yi-Cheun pursued her Ph.D. in Chemistry at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst under the guidance of Prof. Vincent Rotello.  Her doctoral work mainly focused on engineering the Nano-Bio interface through tailoring the surface monolayers of nanomaterials.  Upon graduation, Yi-Cheun moved to Philadelphia to perform her postdoctoral studies in the polymeric biomaterials laboratory of Prof. Jason Burdick, with the focus on developing functional polymers for biomedical applications.  Aside from science, Yi-Cheun enjoys travel, music and movies.
